How I practice
Hi there. I am a Massachusetts-licensed clinical psychologist specializing in working with adults. My clinical practice focuses on helping individuals diagnosed with chronic illnesses, such as cancer, and their caregivers. I also have expertise in addressing end-of-life issues, grief and loss, and bereavement.
I practice from an integrative perspective, which means that I incorporate various evidence-based therapy approaches to help my clients. I believe that each person is unique, and so I adapt my strategies based on their specific needs. I believe that my role as a therapist is to collaboratively work with you and guide you towards a more meaningful and fulfilled life that you wish to live.
Outside of my private therapy practice, I work at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, where I conduct research focused on psycho-oncology and work with individuals coping with cancer and bereaved caregivers. I received my psychology PhD at the University of Maryland, after which I completed my predoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/Harvard Medical School.
I am an out-of-network provider and currently do not take health insurance. However, I can provide you with 'super bills,' which can be used for insurance reimbursement purposes.
If you are interested in possibly working together, please message me (via the portal or my direct email below), and we can set up a free, 15-minute phone consultation.
